Our Impact
Since 2007, Grammy-winning producer Doc Ish has been more than a mentor—he’s been a guide, a coach, and a champion for inner-city youth through InYaHead Academy. He shares not just skills in music and digital media, but also the knowledge, encouragement, and confidence young people need to believe in themselves.

Our Mission
InYaHead Academy’s mission is to empower teens ages 13–19 through free, high-quality music, arts, and digital media education. We provide access to industry-standard tools, professional mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences that help young people build confidence, creativity, and real-world skills—regardless of income or background.
We are guided by a commitment to equity, access, and opportunity, ensuring no student is excluded due to financial or social barriers. We value creativity as a pathway to growth, mentorship rooted in lived experience, and community-centered collaboration. InYaHead Academy fosters safe, inclusive spaces where youth feel seen, respected, and empowered to express their voices and reach their potential.
